Florence Knoll: Defining Modern

The Mies van der Rohe Society  in collaboration with IIT College of Architecture are proud to host Liz Zaczek, from Knoll Inc., for the Florence Knoll: Defining Modern lecture. As a College of Architecture alumna Florence Knoll Bassett (BS Architecture ’41) was the soul, the hand, the creative spirit behind Knoll Inc. This lecture will Highlight Florence Knoll’s contributions to Interior Architecture and Design as a pioneer of art and modern space planning, representing an honorable retrospective presentation of Knoll, it’s collections and the company as it thrives today.
