Kristin Jones (B.ARCH. ’95, Ph.D. ’16)

Kristin Jones is founder and principal architect at Studio Integra, Ltd., a minority-and-woman-owned small business and licensed design professional corporation. She is also an adjunct professor at Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture. Prior to founding Studio Integra in 2003, she led projects in the education, commercial, and residential markets at OWP/P (Cannon Design), DeStefano + Partners, and Holabird and Root.

Jones is active in research exploring intersections between architectural theory and practice, especially in education. Her research has been exhibited in S.R. Crown Hall, and published in international peer-reviewed journals, such as the ARCC Journal Enquiry and TPJ The Plan Journal.

In addition to research and practice, Jones also volunteers in the local community supporting Illinois District 97 and 200 public schools, and the Oak Park Education Foundation.
