Chandra Goldsmith Gray

Chandra Goldsmith-Gray is a landscape architect and adjunct faculty member at Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture. She holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. 

At Illinois Tech, Goldsmith-Gray has been instrumental in implementing the landscape architecture (in coordination with the rehabilitation and preservation) of several Mies buildings on campus, including: S.R. Crown Hall, Carr Chapel, and most recently George J. Kacek Hall. 

Goldsmith-Gray is the daughter of the late Myron Goldsmith, long-time architecture professor and alumnus of Illinois Tech (ARCH '39), who studied under Mies van der Rohe. Her father was inducted into the Illinois Tech Hall of Fame in 2019.

In addition to the Mies van der Rohe Society Board, Goldsmith-Gray is on the Board of Directors at Arts Club of Chicago, and is president of the Board of Trustees at Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts.
