Edward Polich (B.ARCH. ‘79)
Edward Polich is executive vice president of real estate with Draper and Kramer, overseeing all development initiatives and chairing the firm’s investment committee. He also served as Draper and Kramer’s chief development officer, overseeing acquisitions and dispositions, asset management, and the development of key multifamily assets.
Polich earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1979. He began his career as an architect with the firms of Danforth, Rockwell, Carow; Perkins and Will; and HLM. Polich then spent more than a decade with Draper and Kramer playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s development services group. He left the firm in the early 1990s and became regional operating partner at LCOR, Inc . He founded Waveland Partners, LLC, a real estate asset creation and management firm, before rejoining Draper and Kramer in 2014.
A native Chicagoan and North Side resident, Polich is a member and supporter of many local community organizations. He serves as board chair for the Mies van der Rohe Society and is on the board of directors for Claretian Associates.
